If You Are Considering A BMW Read This

If you are not quite ready for the BMW 6 Series, perhaps the BMW 1 Series or the BMW 3 Series is a better fit.

The BMW 1 Series
The 2010 BMW 1 Series has hardly changed since the previous year’s models. The 1 Series line-up includes the 128i and the 135i, in either a two-door coupe or convertible with a power soft top. Ranked at the bottom of the BMW pricing scale, the 1 Series does have the same 3.0-litre inline six-cylinder engine as the more expensive 3 series. While the 128i has a perfectly acceptable 230 horsepower engine the 135i provides an incredible 300 horsepower turbocharger. You can customise your BMW 1 Series 128i with a sunroof (sunroof is standard on the 135i), leather upholstery, power front seats, voice-activated navigation, choice of aluminium or walnut interior trim, heated front seats, and BMW’s concierge service. The available Sport Package includes special trim, sport suspension, and sport bucket seats.

The BMW 3 Series
Next up the BMW scale is the attractive 3 Series. This Series has also not changed much from 2009. There is more versatility in body style with the BMW 3 Series and variants include two door coupes, convertibles, four door sedans and high capacity wagons. The convertible has a power hard top. You need to know that there are three different 3 series models which are the 328i, often referred to as entry level, then there is the top level 335i and finally the high performance M3. Depending on the body style both the 328i and the 335i support either rear wheel drive or four wheel drive. The 328i boasts a powerful 230 horsepower, 3.0-litre inline six-cylinder engine; the 335i is powered by a fantastic turbocharged 300 horsepower, 3.0-litre. The 335d has a 265 horsepower, 3.0-litre turbo-diesel six cylinder engine that meets stringent emission requirements. The supercharged M3 has a 414 horsepower, 4.0-litre high performance V8.
One of the key innovations available with the 3 series is the iDrive. The iDrive system provides a multi-function console knob that is used to control entertainment systems, navigation and communication. Additional extras can include active steering, rear pariking sensors, adaptive cruise controls and xenon headlights.
